Lockheed Retirees celebrate USO Birthday and Welcome home troops.

Retirees find time to assist our soldiers coming home or going out to other locations.

Just another Friday down at the Atlanta International Airport for a team of eightΒ  retirees from Lockheed Martin Plant in Marietta.

This day ,though, was special because the retirees in addition to welcoming home troops from Afganistan and other theatres of operation were celebrating a birthday. The USO was celebrating it's own 72nd birthday and it happened to coincide with the regular visit of the Lockheed team. The association president John Delves and USO coordinator Joe Tulkoff helped cut and serve the cake marking this significant milestone

Birthday celebrating was just part of the day, Mary Lou Austin and the United Services Organization (USO) recognized the Lockheed Martin Retiree Association for their years of dedicated work in supporting military personnel at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Mary Lou was not through. She surprised the Lockheed folk with a proclamation thanking the LMRA for is continued support and regular visits.
