Justin, as in O'Dell, celebrates with Roy and Marie Barnes

It's one thing to be able to say you know the former Gov. Roy Barnes and his wife but another thing to be able to say they hosted an event for me at their beautiful home on Whitlock in Marietta. Justin O'Dell, a candidate for the House of Representatives, can say that and smile. He was hosted at the Barnes Home and many of the areas supporters were there with him. He welcomed folk to the Barnes home and greeted them as he answered questions relative to his qualifications and his plans to serve the district as the elected representative for House District 41 in Cobb County.

He will be elected in the district that was previously occupied by long time, conservative Democratic representative Terry Johnson. Justin, who is very well known in the commuinty, will be running in District 41 because of the latest realignment of House districts that was recently approved by the Justice Department.

Justin and his wife and two children live on John Ward Road. Justin is widely known for his activities in the community, Kiwanis Club of Marietta, church activities and employment at the law firm headed up by former Judge Tom Cauthorn.

The judge also was a very well respected member of the House of Representatives for many years. Looks like it's political time again in Marietta and Cobb County.
