Rep. Alisha Morgan Hosts Town Hall About Challenges Facing Ex-Offenders

The purpose of the meeting is to educate the public about the challenges ex-offenders face when trying to reenter society.

State Rep. Alisha Thomas Morgan (D-Austell), along with co-sponsors Destiny World Church, Vision for Souls Family Worship Center, Reentry Project, Inc., and the Rehoboth Family and Community Services, Inc., will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday, June 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at Destiny World Church at 7400 Factory Shoals Road in Austell. The purpose of the meeting is to educate the public about the challenges ex-offenders face when trying to reenter society. The meeting will also connect ex-offenders with resources that will help them reenter society and will help them become more productive members of society. very funny, Alisha Morgan hosting a town meeting for Re-Entry, when It was myself and Rev Barker of Atlanta who started the fight for re-entry program and teaching of it use and need in our community. Iron Sharpen Iron is the organization who started this whole thing about stop the violence and incarceration, which Rev Dwight Grave introduced me to Rep. Morgan some three years ago.
