Friday Concert Kicks Off Series Created to Save Amphitheatre
Friday's concert not only kicks off Memorial Day weekend, but a new effort by two Cobb natives to restore the Barnes Amphitheater to its former glory.
Country music fans can enjoy a warm night at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre as they listen to the hits of country star Chris Cagle and other musical guests, Leah Seawright and David Fair. Tickets for the concert are now discounted, ranging from $15 for lawn seats and up to $35 for terrace seats. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster or at the gate before the concert, which begins at 8 p.m. The Friday concert is the first of the Amazon Tickets and Events 2012 Summer Country Series, five concerts offered at the amphitheatre throughout the summer.
