Robbery at Mableton PNC Bank

A bank robbery occurred Monday morning on Fontaine Road in Mableton.

The PNC Bank on Fontaine Road in Mableton was robbed this morning, according to the Cobb County Police Department. Investigators said a man walked into the bank and presented a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrator left the bank on foot in an unknown direction, said Cobb police spokesman Michael Bowman. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30’s, last seen wearing black clothing and a black ball cap, said Bowman. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 770-499-3945.

Mableton Bank Robber Gets Away

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call (770) 499-3945.

Cobb Police are investigating a bank robbery at the Chase Bank in Mableton this morning. A male walked into the bank on Floyd Road about 11 a.m. and went up to a teller counter. While acting as if he had a gun, the perpetrator presented a note in which he demanded money.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrator walked out of the bank (towards the rear of the business) in the direction of a Kroger store. Authorities are looking for a black male, 5’10”-6’00”, 180 lbs.  He had long braids and was described as being in his late twenties to early thirties. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call (770) 499-3945.

Armed Robbery at Austell Waffle House

One suspect in the incident has been arrested while the other two are at large, said Cobb police.

Cobb police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday evening at the Waffle House on Six Flags Drive near Riverside Parkway in Austell. According to investigators, two men entered the restaurant wearing masks, and one was armed with a handgun. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, fled the business, and entered a vehicle driven by a third suspect who's a female. Authorities arrested one of the suspects, Charles Bernard Anderson, who is currently in custody at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. The other two suspects are still at large. Cobb Police Establish Intricate Search Operation for Missing Children

In an effort to not lose any more children in the precious hours once they go missing, Cobb Police has established a sophisticated operation to find them and bring them home.

The atmosphere in the room at the Cobb Police & Fire substation on Factory Shoals Road in Mableton was thick with urgency, desperation and a strong sense of duty early Saturday morning. Sgt. Dana Pierce, spokesman for the Cobb Police Department, was one of the last to arrive around 6 a.m. as nearly 90 law enforcement officials from Cobb Police, Cobb Fire, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia State Patrol and the Child Abduction Response Team gathered ready to receive their instructions and spring into action to find a missing 5-year-old girl. Woman Dies on Silver Comet Trail

A woman is dead after crashing her ATV on the Silver Comet Trail Friday night. Police believe alcohol was involved.

A woman is dead after she and a friend riding in an ATV crashed the motorized vehicle on the Silver Comet Trail shortly after midnight. The woman, 52-year-old Elizabeth Z. Neesley of Austell, was ejected from her seat in the red ATV when it collided with a metal pole placed in the middle of the trail to prevent motor vehicles access on the trail. After the vehicle collided with the pole, it caught fire and burned, police said. Randall P. Gianisiracusa, 52 of Austell, was the other occupant of the ATV. He sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash, which occurred east of Floyd Road. Gianisiracusa was treated at the scene and then released. Cobb Police are investigating the crash and have not yet determined who was driving the vehicle…

Cobb Police Investigate Mableton Home Invasion

Cobb Police are investigating a home invasion, which occurred on Factory Shoals Road in Mableton around 8:30 a.m.

Cobb Police are currently investigating a home invasion, which occurred at a home on Factory Shoals Road near the intersection of South Gordon Road. Cobb Police spokesman Mike Bowman said the home invasion occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. today when an unknown number of men forcibly entered the home and stole an undisclosed amount of items.
