Fill in the Blank: What Should Go into the Taco Mac Location?
After shutting its doors for a final time recently, Taco Mac closed its East-West Connector location.
As you can tell from our recent Readers' Choice poll, there are very few places in Mableton or Austell for outdoor dining. Taco Mac was one of the very few places in the area with a covered patio, which allowed patrons to sip, drink, enjoy the breeze and even watch a game on the TVs outside. The chain, which may be more known for its wings than its tacos, closed its location at East-West Connector three months ago.

I wouldn't mind seeing a real deli, or real bakery. I'd take a LaMadeline type breakfast spot. We DON'T have enough choices for good breakfast places... Me have Martin's, McDonalds and Waffle House.. Ihop is too blah to eat there every weekend and they are always crowded. Would love to see a Denny's.. For dinner it would be great to have a Friendly's for kiddies and families.
