Lunch Break: Austell Man Predicts Rapture

Christians believe there will be a time when God will remove all remaining Christians from the earth in what is called the Rapture. The Bible says in Matthew 24, that no man, not even the angels or Jesus know the day or hour when this will happen. But one Austell man says he knows. Robert Jackson of Austell said he knows the day will be Oct. 25, 2029 and says the others who have made similar claims are "kooks." Jackson said he discovered the date of the Rapture by studying the Bible and listening to God. He told 11Alive, "I'm not trying to create a sensation. I'm trying to create a hunger."
