Wolfpack's Tennis Program Pursues Return to Form

The Whitefield Academy tennis teams work to continue restablish level of excellence

Over the past decade, Whitefield Academy’s athletics program has attained high levels of success and blossomed into one of the most competitive in Georgia. After coming to Whitefield Academy in 2001, Tyrone Johnson led the Wolfpack to two basketball state championships. Cindy Todt, a Whitefield alumnus, coached the tennis team to the regional championship for four consecutive years from 2003 to 2007.  However, after Todt's departure in 2007,  the tennis program fell on hard times under head coach Bob Mainor. Additionally, during this period, the program had to contend with other sports for funds.
