Mother Charged with Murder of Severely Malnourished Girl

Cobb Police arrested and charged a 38-year-old mother, Ebony Berry, with murder and first-degree cruelty with children on Friday after finding a dead severely malnourished girl at her home. At 1:30 p.m., South Cobb's Precinct 2 officers responded to a 911 call about an unresponsive girl at a home on Concord Road. When the officers arrived on the scene, they found the body of a dead girl, whose age has not yet been released.
