Document Shredding, Textile Collection, Electronic Recycling Event

Keep Cobb Beautiful has joined forces with local recycling companies to give residents a chance to recycle clothes, household linen, shoes, electronics, document shredding and latex paint disposal.

Celebrated annually on Nov. 15, America Recycles Day is a nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and buy-recycled products. Keep Cobb Beautiful has joined forces with local recycling companies to give residents a chance to recycle clothes, household linen, shoes, electronics, document shredding and latex paint disposal. The event takes place on Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jim Miller Park and gives residents a chance to clean up their homes just before the holiday season. Items Accepted: "Appliance Amnesty" will also take place 7 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Cobb County Transfer Station, 1897 County Services Parkway, Marietta. Recycling appliances with Freon/refrigerant will be only $5, instead of the normal $12…
