South Cobb Lady Eagles Lose Early Lead, Game to Lady Hoyas

Lady Eagles stay close early, but falter down the stretch and lose 53-40

The South Cobb Lady Eagles have had a tough season so far. Coming into Friday night their record stood at 2-9. They had a chance to improve that record against Harrison at home.  The Lady Eagles held their own in the first quarter and went into the second quarter tied at 17.  Harrison started the second quarter on a 6-0 run, but South Cobb battled back and got a huge three-point basket at the buzzer from point guard Brittany Nash to end the half tied at 29.  The Lady Hoyas completely dominated the third quarter, outscoring South Cobb 19-2. 6'1 center Nikki Hegstetter took over in the second half and finished with a game-high 20 points.
