Viewfinder: Fathers and Daughters Hit the Dance Floor For Charity

Survivors Outreach Hosted its First Father, Daughter Dance Friday Evening, Offering a Night of Entertainment, Music, Food and Charity.

Fathers danced the night away with their little princesses on Friday for the Survivors Outreach Father-Daughter Dance at the Ron Anderson Community Center. “It's about us spending time together, and me showing her how much I love her to do something like this for her and hopefully she'll remember it and wanna do it again and again so it can be like our thing every year,” said one dad, O.J Brown, after a quick breather from the dance floor. Heather King-Green, whose laugh entered the room before she did, hosted the event  at the Ron Anderson Community Center in Powder Springs. Survivors Outreach, a South Cobb organization founded by King-Green, started with aiding homeless veterans and has since grown to assist those in the community in …
