Man Charged with Rape of Mableton Teen He Met on Facebook
A DeKalb County man remains in jail on charges of raping the 15-year-old girl, who is reportedly pregnant. Police said a DNA test will be conducted once the baby is born to determine its father.
UPDATE: Anthony Antonio Norman now sits in Cobb County jail on charges of rape of a 15-year-old girl he met on Facebook. This is not the first time Norman has faced a sexual crime charge. He had also been arrested and charged with aggravated child molestation on June 11, 2009, according to Gwinnett County Superior Court records. Officials of the Gwinnett District Attorney's Office, who did not wish to give their names, said the case was "administratively dismissed" on Feb. 26, 2010. The District Attorney's Office officials did not have information immediately available about why the case was dismissed. Norman is not registered as a sexual offender in Georgia.
