Volunteers Needed at Cobb Animal Shelter

Applications are being accepted for the weekday and weekend volunteer shifts.

The Cobb County Animal Control is looking for additional volunteers at the County Animal Shelter. Applications are being accepted for the weekday and weekend volunteer shifts. You must be 18 or older. The shelter's hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Training will be provided at the shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Drive, Marietta.  For information, visit animalcontrol.cobbcountyga.gov.

This 5-month-old puppy is available for adoption at the Cobb County Animal Shelter.

Oreo is a 5-month-old puppy already knows to sit and walk on the leash. His family decided that a dog does not really fit their lifestyle shortly after they adopted him from the shelter, and brought him back. He is in the puppy room, cage 303 and his ID# is 552876.
