Jennifer Lopez Brings Hollywood to Austell
The "What to Expect When You're Expecting" star is expected to shoot a scene of her upcoming movie, along with 250 extras in Austell on Monday.
Austell will experience a little piece of Hollywood on Monday, when big-name stars of the upcoming movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” film a scene in Austell. The movie stars Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock, Cameron Diaz and many others and is based on the 500-week New York Times bestseller of the same name by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Maze. Filming of the Lions Gate movie directed by Kirk Jones of "Nanny McPhee" fame has been taking place in Metro Atlanta, the Hollywood of the South, since mid-July. According to Mike Smith of the WTE production team, the film is contributing close to $100,000 per day into the Atlanta economy.
