South Cobb Area Students Honored by Boys & Girls Clubs
About 10 students from South Cobb and Pebblebrook were among those honored recently for graduation from the organization's College Bound program.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) honored 15 outstanding Cobb County graduates who are College Bound participants at its 18th annual College Bound Senior Celebration on May 17. Ten of those students graduated from South Cobb and Pebblebrook high schools. College Bound is an educational program designed to support BGCMA high school students through the college preparation and application process. Participants benefit from one-to-one academic advising, ACT/SAT and Georgia High School Graduation Test preparation, tips for improving study skills, financial aid and scholarship information and college tours.
