Mableton Elementary School's faculty and staff are focused on making sure students are fit, academically and physically.More In the summers the students have access to summer math practice and during the school year, they participate in FITNESSGRAM, a health and wellness assessment. The school was named a 2009 School of Excellence. The students take pride in their school and help keep it in shape as well with regular Saturday cleanup days. The school will soon receive upgrades, using some of the SPLOST revenue generated in recent years.

The Imagine International Academy of Mableton is one of Cobb County's six charter schools. IIAM is part of ImagineMore Schools, which is the largest charter school organization in the nation. Students are not zoned for this school, but, instead, enrollment depends on parental choice. At IIAM, there is a private-school-type of environment with a great emphasis on parental involvement.

Lindley Sixth Grade Academy at The Barnes Center

Lindley Academy is an Advanced Placement Affiliate School that first began as a "mini-school" within Lindley MiddleMore School in 2007. The following year, the academy moved to its own facility. Its current location at the Barnes Center was a former county alternative school and before that, was the original location of Lindley Middle. The smaller student population helps enrich the learning environment.
Sanders Primary and Intermediate schools

Sanders schools are divided into two separate schools on one property, Sanders Primary, kindergarten - second gradeMore and Sanders Intermediate for grades 3 -5.

The students at Sanders are helping homeless pets in the community with the Sanders Homeless Pets Club. Students volunteer at pet adoption events and visit local animal retailers.
