Also, the Thompson Community Center, which has a capacity of 300 people, provides a pleasant gathering place. It is equipped with a banquet room, a meeting room and a kitchen. A regular Jazzercise class is taught at the community center each week. The center can be reserved by a members of the public by contacting the parks and recreation department of Cobb County.
