My condolences to Captain Herb's family. I did not know him but his voice radiated kindness.

I had met Capt. Herb Emory many times doing what he did often: giving of himself and his time to aRead More lot of community activities. I also had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife, Karen, when they were both at the Arbor Place Mall for Olympic medalist, Elana Myers' most recent celebration. My prayers and condolences go out to her and the Emory family and friends, as I, too, try to get past the shock of his passing. Heaven gained what we have lost: a really sweet man with a wonderful sense of humor, who got many of us through the driving commutes, and helped so many people through the numerous charities that he participated in for several decades. We will miss Capt. Herb every single day for a very, very long time.

Oh, I'm so sorry for the family of Jmaal. I'm not even going to say it's better to have closure,Read More because in this situation it probably isn't. Nothing can make this any better.

It was an honor and priiledge to have served Jmaal as my Alumni Class of 2012. To see him make hisRead More walk into destiny as a Hiram Hiornet was such a joy as he glowed with his smile that was always carried everywhere he went. Now Jmaal has made his final walk into the destiny of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the peace of God that passes all human understanding keep the minds and hearts of Jmaal's family and friends. May the power of the Holy Spirit minister to both families. Jmaal was so loved!
