"It is very important that families sit together at the dinner table and share the blessings of God. In providing these meals, we feel that we are giving families an opportunity to break bread together. Thanksgiving is one of those holidays when the family can look back and be grateful to God for where He has brought them from," according to an email sent from the center.

Distribution will take place today and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Wednesday at 5 p.m., FLRC is partnering with Mars Hill Community Church to host a Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless and volunteers. Anyone who would like to help can attend.

The organizers and volunteers of the center want the dinner distribution and dinner for the homeless to help show the love of God to the South Cobb community, according to an email announcement.

"God has been too good to us, we must share the love of God with others. It's our reasonable service to exhibit the nature of a loving God to those that otherwise may not visit your church. You may be the only Jesus someone sees or the only Bible they may read. Let your light shine this holiday season," the announcement stated.
