West Cobb Bra Auction to Feature Lingerie Football Players

Proceeds will go to the Keep a Breast Foundation.

Starting Sunday, Oct. 14, bidders will have a chance to take home a signed sports bra from one of 17 players from the Green Bay Chill of the Lingerie Football League.

The auction is being organized by the same West Cobb family that put together April's MZ & Emmers Sports Bra Auction for Breast Cancer. It featured 200-plus athletic undergarments from women of various sports and .

Eleven lingerie football players contributed to that auction.

David Bayer—who puts the auctions on with his wife, Carey, daughter, Emma, and family friend and professional soccer player McCall Zerboni—said the upcoming auction concentrates on the theme of a single team and sport rather than women from different fields.

“I wanted to focus on certain groups," Bayer said. "It’s easier gather people together when you’re with one group."

Money will go to Keep a Breast Foundation. Bayer said he doesn't know how much money to expect.

“It’s hard to tell with these things how much you’re going to make," he said. "The important thing is the players promoting it with their social media. That’s what brings in the money."

There isn't a live link to the auction on eBay yet, but Patch will post it as soon as it's available.

Bayer hopes to get other teams involved for future auctions, including the one that is to start play in Atlanta when the season begins next year.

He has some other auctions in the works, includine one that branches off sports and will feature just female comedians.

“I have 60 women signed up right now to do it," Bayer said.
