Gobble Jog

The Marietta Daily Journal Gobble Jog is a Thanksgiving Day event featuring a 10K run/walk, 5K, a 1K and the Tot Trot (for kids 5 and under).  The event benefits MUST Ministries, which provides food, shelter, clothing and other services for individuals and families needing assistance or who are in crises.

The race originates and finishes at the Marietta Square.  Click here for online registration or register the day of beginning at 7:00am.  Individuals or teams can participate.

In 2010, more than 8,300 people from almost 50 states participated in the Gobble Jog and helped raise $285,000 for MUST Ministry.  Over the last nine years the Gobble Jog has raised a cumulative total of more than one million dollars for the non-profit agency, which in 2010, served more than 32,000 distinct individuals (almost half of whom were children), provided more than 46,000 bed nights of rest, served approximately 78,000 meals and gave away a ton of food every day.
