Atlanta Falcons and Allstate Host Gatorade Junior Training Camp in Mableton

International Academy serves as venue for football conditioning drills to prmote healthy living and eradicate childhood obesity

Recently, the Atlanta Falcons and Allstate joined forces to host the Atlanta Falcons Gatorade Junior Training Camp at the in Mableton.

This one-day camp, which is catered to rising third through sixth graders, promoted the fundamentals of football, physical activity and sufficient hydration while trying to maintain physical fitness. Those in attendance had a taste of what NFL go through in training camp by running a variety of football drills and working up a sweat in the intense summer heat.

The camps will be held in four metro Atlanta locations, with each of the camps benefiting a charity of their choice. Trevor Roseberry and his organization, the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, were the Allstate representatives for the setting in Mableton.

The Gatorade Junior Training Camp, which kicked off its program on June 14 in Monroe, will set up shop in two additional locations on its four-city tour, stopping in Decatur and Newnan on June 21.
