Whitefield Girls Fall in Semifinals Versus Paideia
Lady WolfPack's rally comes up short as they lose 38-30
The Whitefield Academy Lady WolfPack lost a hard-fought low scoring affair to the Paideia Academy Lady Pythons, 38-30.
Whitefield senior power forward Briana Jones dropped a team-high 11 points in the losing effort. Nia Smith provided the offense for Paideia, scoring 18 points to place her squad in the championship game.
Whitefield plays First Presbyterian Day in the Region 9-A third place game at 2 p.m. at . Paideia faces Southwest Atlanta Christian in the Region 9-A title game at 3:30 pm.
