South Cobb Business Association to Welcome Southern Poly President
She will speak at the group's May 1 luncheon.
Lisa A. Rossbacher, the president of Southern Polytechnic State University, will be the featured speaker at Wednesday's South Cobb Business Association Luncheon.
Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, and the luncheon starts at 1 p.m. at Presbyterian Village, 2000 East-West Connector, Austell.
Admission is $15 for SCBA members and $20 for non-members. Members get a $3 discount if they prepay online.

Rossbacher became president of Southern Poly in 1998. She is the first woman geologist to become a university president in North America, according to her biography on the university's website.
