Prepare your child for the CRCT

Follow these steps to help your child do his or her best on the CRCT this week.

The CRCT testing begun Wednesday and will continue through next week. The test can be a load of pressure for youngsters. As parents, you can't tell them the right answers or be with them in the classroom for support, but you can take a few extra steps to help them out.

1. Help your child relax and think positively about the test so there is not extra pressure placed upon them.

2. Eat a nutritious breakfast each morning.

3. Try to have your child early to school. Even being five minutes late means your child may not be able to test with his or her class.

4. Limit evening activities so there's adequate time for relaxation and rest.
