Named in honor of Ida and L. Allen Morris, the 55,000 square foot academic building houses 16 classrooms, four science labs, a library, art room, offices, and a 300-seat black box theater for dramatic performances, concerts, recitals, and weekly chapel services. The Morris family and their descendants, the Bell family, have supported Whitefield in various leadership roles, including the school’s founding steering committee.

Plans for Morris Hall, which was designed by the architectural firm Perkins+Will, began four years ago and was announced to the public in 2010. Since its establishment in 1997, Whitefield Academy, now a 75-acre campus, has continually enhanced its presence in the community through economic development, as well as offering solid academic, arts, and athletic programs.
