Mableton SAE School to Open This Fall
A first-year student body of approximately 150 is expected, with classes beginning on Aug. 13.
A new independent Preschool-12th grade school in Mableton will open in August after two years of planning.
The SAE school is located in the old Imagine International Academy of Mableton building at 6688 Mableton Pkwy, but has no other affiliation with the company. A first-year student body of approximately 150 is expected, with classes beginning on Aug. 13.
The school, founded by Jimmy Arispe and Janet Rau, takes a Project Based Learning approach, using a year-round, 200-day calendar.

The 2013-14 school year will accommodate students through 8th grade, while grade levels between 9th and 12th are being added each year. The first graduating class is anticipated in 2018.
