Local Grads Get VSU Scholarships

Valdosta State University has recognized more than 400 students for receiving scholarships during the 2012-13 academic year. Scholarship funds will assist students in a portion or all of tuition and other student expenses.

Area students include:

Drexcell Beavers, of Austell - Georgia Gulf Sulfur Business/Athlete Scholarship

Rukeya Taylor, of Austell - Lorene Joiner Memorial Scholarship

Audriana Royster, of Mableton - Loyless-Simmons Scholarship

Kameron Crutcher, of Mableton - Music Alliance Scholarship
