Garrett Middle Wants to School Parents
Workshop on Jan. 23 will address topics such as bullying and academic motivation.
Garrett Middle School's counseling department, along with Turning Point Enterprises, wants to bring parents and educators together to discuss topics affecting students.
Parent University on Thursday, Jan. 23, takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the school at 5235 Austell Powder Springs Road.
Topics will include academic motivation, bullying and gang involvement, substance abuse and tobacco, conflict resolution, money management for families, job readiness, blended families, health and wellness and more.
