Georgia House of Representa​tives Alisha Thomas Morgan to Speak at ELI Graduation

The Jewell Jackson McCabe Emerging Leaders Institute, Inc. (ELI) will graduate 155 women and girls ranging in age from 11 to 42 from its leadership programs on Saturday, April 16, 2011.  The keynote address will be delivered by leadership trainer and speaker Alisha Thomas Morgan, who also serves in the Georgia House of Representatives, District 39.  The ceremony will be held at Spelman College in the Cosby Auditorium.

Adult graduates hail from Atlanta, Birmingham, Greenville, NC, and Yokosuka, Japan and include a United States Navy officer, technology consultant, attorney, and educators.  Middle and high school student graduates include students at KIPP STRIVE and Atlanta Preparatory Academies; and Morrow, Alexander, and Benjamin E. Mays High Schools.
