According to 11 Alive, "a group of parents and the 11Alive Help Desk joined forces to urge the Cobb Board of Education to restore the bus service, as soon as possible. And Cobb County listened."

Although there is no specific date the service will be restored, Cobb Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Hinojosa said, "The amount of money needed is not that large to impact the budget. They have enough of a surplus to handle the costs this year."
