Breaking News: Copycat Vigilante Incident in Florida ?

Red Hills, Fl--In the wake of the George Zimmerman verdict, a member of the "Stand Your Ground Community Watch Group" in this small Florida town not far from Sanford, Carlos Ramos, just shot and killed a young, white male, 18, who Ramos had earlier reported to authorities as suspicious since he was walking in a neighborhood wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a box of Twinkies (which Ramos claimed had been reported stolen from an area grocery store, according to the police scanner he monitors from his home).
According to investigators, Mr Ramos said he attempted to stop and question the young man, a scuffle ensued, and Mr Ramos claimed he had to shoot him in self defense.

Local police authorities acted swiftly and immediately arrested Mr. Ramos, who had a permit to carry his firearm, and detectives are calling it a homicide. The local District Attorney, Mr. Whitehead, said that 2nd degree murder charges would be sought against Mr Ramos and he assured the largely white community that the full force of his office will be utilized to prosecute and convict Mr. Ramos.
Many in the local community are calling for Mr. Ramos to be deported back to his native Mexico, though he is a legal U.S. resident,  and he has received death threats from the KKK. Mr. Ramos remains in jail without bail for his own protection the local Judge, Mr. Caucus, reported.
