Take Austell's Recycling/Garbage Survey

At the August Austell City Council meeting, Austell resident Calvin Watkins addressed the mayor and council about issues he was having with recycling pick-up in his neighborhood.

Watkins said recycling in his area of the city on Line Street had not been collected in weeks and he was concerned since all Austell residents pay a fee for the recycling collection service.

Mayor Joe Jerkins assured Watkins that he would look into the issue, and the city has created a survey in an effort to seek input from citizens about its garbage and recycling services. All answers are strictly confidential and will be used to guide decisions that affect all Austell residents.
