South Cobb Commissioner Hosting Town Hall Wednesday

District Four's Lisa Cupid will be in Powder Springs to listen to residents.

A county commissioner whose district includes South Cobb will be in Powder Springs Wednesday to listen to residents.

South Cobb’s representative, Commissioner Lisa Cupid, will be holding a town hall meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Ron Anderson Recreation Center in Powder Springs. Cupid represents the southwestern portion of Cobb, including the entirety of the county south of Macland Road.

Wednesday’s meeting will come less than a week after one headed by District One’s Helen Goreham. Goreham was at the West Cobb Senior Center on Thursday. Her district covers northwest Cobb, with Macland Road serving as its southern boundary.

Other District One town halls are scheduled for Oct. 17 and Nov. 21.
