Thank goodness Woody Thompson decided to run again. He has been good for all the constituents and will continue to make sure South Cobb gets our fair share of whatever the county is allowing to be distributed.
Way to go WOODY.

I am ecstatic the Lisa Cupid is running for District 4 Commissioner for Cobb County. Although we have had seat filler for this office, we are long overdue for an advocate of change and progress in our community. Lisa Cupid has worked tirelessly in corporate America while simultaneously making a home for her family which is why she can relate to issues facing the working class and those community members that are concerned with issues that face the modern family. Lisa Cupid continued to build her skills as a diverse leader as she contributed to the success of our state as a policy analyst in the Governor’s office. Coupled with her study of law in intellectual property and the plethora of attributes mentioned above, it gives me a great sense of security that District 4 of Cobb County will finally have a grass root activist that can relate to people on all levels whether they are in the business world, political activist or devoted to building a successful family, Lisa Cupid can meet the members of our community on whatever level they might be. Finally we have a community leader and partner who is not only connected to the issues but connected to solutions.

I am fairly new to Cobb. Lisa Cupid showed up at my door with her staff and told me the Cobb she knows and the Cobb she plans to see. I have seen yard signs and propaganda, but i felt a close connection to Cobb through Lisa. I am pleased to say she has my vote.

It is so refreshing to have someone who understands what Cobb County needs and has the energy to carry it out. When I met Lisa Cupid at the Mableton Day Festival, and she shared her experiences, community involvements, and solutions for an often ignored and leaderless district. I thought, this is the kind of partner that Cobb County needs. She's got my vote July 31st !!

Woody Thompson has done an incredible job for South Cobb, and should be re-elected. Commissioner Thompson, lives in South Cobb, he knows the area well and knows precisely what this area needs. This Commissioner has worked tirelessly to improve South Cobb lower taxes and he is very involved with the South Cobb Business Association. Woody Thompson has the experience, the leadership and the determination to keep District 4 safe, bring businesses to this area, improve the infrastructure, and that is just what the county needs, someone who will stand for, and with this community. He has our vote! Good luck Commissioner Thompson, keep up the good work, we could not be more proud of you.

I moved to South Cobb last year from Carroll County and many of the services and expectations that I had upon my arrival were never met. The schools that my children attended not only failed to meet the expectations that they set for themselves, but failed to meet even basic expectations for the community and those that I have as a resident. When I met Lisa Cupid, she addressed many of the current concerns that I had in addition to sharing her future plans and vision for improvement for South Cobb. After speaking to Lisa I researched her past and current involvement professionally and within the community. As a result, I feel as though Lisa is the best candidate for Commissioner. Her leadership abilities, passion, commitment and drive has caused her to truly earn my support and vote. I believe that Lisa has the skills, knowledge and know-how to make South Cobb County a community that we can all take pride in.

Please encourage residents to attend CCt flex bus meeting at the South Cobb Library on Tuesday JuneRead More 18t 6pm-8pm. The first meeting only had 11 residents there and none were bus riders. I have encouraged residents that have teens to attend meeting because this help our teens get to jobs or social activities and not just hang out in the neighborhood. We must also plan for the future and underswtrand that just because you are driving today, it may not be the case all the time. Your situation can change with a blink of an eye.
