"Too often, the role women have played in movements has been understated and this is a great opportunity to honor the work and legacy of Dr. Boynton Robinson and many other nameless women who have helped shape America to what she is today,” Morgan stated.

The weekend's festivities included many notable participants, including Ambassador Andrew Young, Congressman John Lewis, Dr. Bernard LaFayette, Dick Gregory, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Dr. Barbara Williams Emerson and Monica Pearson.
