Warrant: Pair Had 98 Pounds of Meth

The suspects are in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Two Mableton men face methamphetamine trafficking charges after they were found with nearly 100 pounds of the drug.

Victor Fegueroa and Jorge Romero were arrested just before 8 p.m. July 31 at 5186 Maple Valley Rd. after authorities, executing a search warrant, observed the men "off loading a U-Haul truck that the methamphetamine was transported in," according to arrest warrants for the men. "Methamphetamine was hidden inside statues in the truck."

Romero and Fegueroa are in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond. Both have U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement holds on their release.
