Warrant: Man Abuses Mableton Woman, Teen Daughter
When the girl tried to assist her mother, an Atlanta man allegedly lashed out at her.
An Atlanta man allegedly pushed a 13-year-old girl who rushed to her mother's aid during a domestic altercation and repeatedly slammed her head into the bed and the wall.
The alleged incident involving the teen, her mother and Charles Alton Young occurred about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment in the 6800 block of Mableton Parkway, according to an arrest warrant issued the same day.
The girl had some swelling and redness to the right side of her face and head, according to the warrant.
Young faces three counts of cruelty to children in the third degree as well as one count each of cruelty to children in the second degree and battery.
