Suspect in Clydesdale Lane Burglaries Arrested

A Mableton man faces four counts of first degree burglary.

A Mableton man has been arrested in connection with four burglaries along Clydesdale Lane.

The burglaries occurred between July 6 and July 31, according to arrest warrants for Josue Jerez, who lives in the 100 block of Clydesdale Lane.

Jerez allegedly broke into one home July 6 by opening an unsecured bedroom window. Once inside the residence, he took a 30-inch flat screen TV, according to warrants.

Five days later, Jerez allegedly broke a window to gain access to another home so he could steal accused an Apple MacBook Pro laptop.

A third burglary occurred July 22 when Jerez allegedly broke a side window of a home and took electronics as well as jewelry from the residence.

"Two witnesses to the burglary were discovered by responding officers," according to warrants. "One witness identified a co-conspirator in this burglary, who was later identified as a juvenile. The other witness described the general physical characteristics of said accused as being a young Hispanic male with a Mohawk style hair and was described as acting as the 'lookout.' "

Jerez and the juvenile were arrested July 31 in connection with a fourth burglary in the same neighborhood, according to warrants.

Jerez faces four counts of first degree burglary, according to online jail records. He is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $90,000 bond.
