Updated: Mableton Woman Killed in Wreck
Police say the driver of a tractor-trailer is not expected to be charged in crash on Mableton Parkway.

A 57-year-old Mableton woman was killed Friday afternoon in a collision on Mableton Parkway, south of Dodgen Road, in Mableton, Cobb Police reported.
Police said preliminary information indicates that Barbara Sims, driving a 2012 Ford Fiesta, was attempting to turn left from 6600 Mableton Parkway onto northbound Mableton Parkway when she was struck by a southbound semi tractor/trailer driven by Moses Asemota, 54, of Conley.
Cobb police said Sims was pronounced dead at the scene. Asemota was not injured in the crash, and police said he is not expected to be charged in the crash.
