Police Seek Suspect in Mableton Carjacking

The man was responding to a Craigslist ad.

A man who responded to a Craigslist ad Thursday night in Mableton was robbed at gunpoint, Cobb police said. 

About 7:30 p.m., the man went to an address in the 6400 block of Dodgen Road. A man wearing a white T-shirt, brown shorts and tennis shoes approached him with a 9mm handgun, said Officer Mike Bowman, spokesman for the Cobb County Police Department.

"The perpetrator ... robbed the victim of his cash and 2005 Black Hyundai Elantra bearing Georgia tag AVD7709," Bowman said.
