Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect
The Mableton Burger King was robbed early this morning.
Cobb police responded to a 911 call shortly before 6:30 this morning from an employee of the Mableton at 809 Veterans Memorial Highway that they had been robbed at gunpoint.
After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled towards I-285 in a black late 1990s model Nissan Maxima. He was described as a dark skinned black man, who stands 5’8” tall and was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark green ski mask, police said.
Police are investigating the crime, and anyone with additional information is being asked to call (770) 499-3945.
