Police Arrest 6 for Series of Burglaries at One Smyrna Home

Police suspect the victim's family friends were burglarizing his home.

As a result of a six-month investigation, Smyrna police arrested four adults and two juveniles whom in connection to a series of burglaries and entering auto incidents at the same Smyrna residence on Carriage Lane.

Ronald Black, 19 of Marietta, Landen Law, 17 of Marietta, Christian Pace, 17 of Smyrna, and Dimitri Salmon, 19 of Smyrna, along with two 16-year-old suspects from Marietta and Mableton, were arrested and charged with varying counts of burglary and entering auto.

According to a release from the Smyrna Police Department, all six suspects are family friendsΒ  of the victim, Eric Cash.

On five occasions from Sept. 15 to Feb. 26, laptops, autographed baseballs, a Wii system, TVs,Β  an iPod charger, an autographed Dallas Cowboys helmet, Wii games, a Playstation gaming system and more were stolen from Cash's residence and vehicles.

During the last incident on Feb. 26, three of the suspects broke into Cash's home while he and his family slept. They stole a game system, fruit snacks, Gatorade and a computer hard drive before Cash, who was armed, chased the offenders from his home.
