Cynthia "Cindy" Golden, 53, of Austell passed away Friday, February 17, 2012. She is survived by her mother, Zelma Wallace of Powder Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer & Michael McClendon of Powder Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie & Renee Wallace of Woodstock; daughter, LaRhonda Golden of KY; son, Kevin Lewis, Jr. of Mableton; 2 grandchildren; niece, LaShunda Hudson of Powder Springs; nephews, Damon Wallace of Woodstock, Jessie Wallace of Kennesaw. Funeral Services will be held Sunday 2:00 PM, Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronald Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday 2-7 pm at the funeral home.

Sue B. McElroy, age 63 of Austell, died Friday, February 17, 2012 after an extended illness. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kim Munoz and husband Matt of Lithia Springs; son, Scott McElroy and wife Kristen of Douglasville; mother, Annie Mae Butt of Austell; sisters, Ann B Clegg and husband, Rev. Cecil Clegg of Douglasville, Kay Morris and husband Chet of Dahlonega; brother, Ben Butt of Macon; 6 grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1 pm, Monday, February 20, 2012 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cecil Clegg officiating. Interment will be held 1 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2011 at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, GA.

Mrs. McElroy had a great love for children and taught at Beulah Elementary for 24 years and was a member at Heritage Baptist Church for six years. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.

Zada Jackson, former Cobb County resident, teacher and the first director of the South Cobb Arts Alliance Mable House Gallery in Mableton, died on December 28, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of her life on Saturday, January 28 at the Mable House Arts Center from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Zada to the South Cobb Arts Alliance or Friends of the Mable House. The Mable House Art Center is located at 5239 Floyd Road in Mableton.
