Man Dies from Injuries of Austell Car Crash
The Powder Springs man was riding a motorcycle when he struck a car from the rear.
AtΒ about 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 12, a man driving a black Honda motorcycle when he struck the rear of a grey 2003 BMW 745 that was stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of East-West Connector and Powder Springs Road in Austell, according to Cobb Police investigators.
The motorcycle driver, who has been identified as 61-year-old Thomas Brooks of Powder Springs, was pronounced dead on Monday after being transported in serious condition to Grady Hospital on Aug. 12, police stated.
Steven Edwards, a 22-year-old from Springfield, Mass., was driving the BMW at the time. He was not injured in the crash.
