Mableton Man Wanted in Assault

"At one point after the attack, the victim lost consciousness for approximately 20 minutes," according to an arrest warrant.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Mableton man in connection with a weekend assault that sent another man to a local hospital.

The alleged attack occurred about 1:45 a.m. Saturday in the 6800 block of Mableton Parkway Southeast, according to a Cobb County arrest warrant for Henry Carl Young.

Young, according to the warrant, allegedly punched the man in the face, and the man fell to the ground.

"When the victim fell to the ground, accused along with other unidentified persons did kick the victim in the face and head causing the victim's nose to break and look disfigured," according to the warrant. "At one point after the attack, the victim lost consciousness for approximately 20 minutes."

The man was taken to a local hospital for evaluation of head trauma, records show.

Young is wanted on a charge of aggravated battery.
