Mableton Bank Robber Gets Away

Cobb Police are investigating a bank robbery at the Chase Bank in Mableton this morning.

A male walked into the bank on Floyd Road about 11 a.m. and went up to a teller counter. While acting as if he had a gun, the perpetrator presented a note in which he demanded money. 

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrator walked out of the bank (towards the rear of the business) in the direction of a Kroger store.

Authorities are looking for a black male, 5’10”-6’00”, 180 lbs. 

He had long braids and was described as being in his late twenties to early thirties. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

I hope Cobb Police catch this guy, this is my bank, and all the people who work there are extremely nice and didn't deserve this scumbag robbing them

Think we could get a smaller picture? I seriously don't understand why banks don't invest in better cameras. That picture looks like someone took it from their phone...in 2002.

Chris, I am sure with modern technology the police can zoom in on any scars, I used to work in Florida with electrical contractor assigned to Sensormatic systems which can zoom in at 150 yard on a car license plate or a facial scar
