Craigslist User Sought in Austell Robbery, Carjacking

The suspect said he had a television he wanted to sell.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an Atlanta man who allegedly lured a woman to Austell via Craigslist and robbed her at gunpoint.

Iquane Shaquill Brown had a television that he wanted to sell. A woman responded to his Craigslist ad and the two agreed to meet at a location in the 5100 block of Jones Road in Austell.

When the woman arrived at the location about 11:50 a.m. June 10, Brown allegedly pulled out a Ruger .44 caliber rifle, demanded the victim's money and stole her 1999 blue Ford Crown Victoria, police said.

"The victim and a witness both positively identified the accused when shown a sequential photographic lineup," according to the warrant.

Brown is wanted on charges that include armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, hijacking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
