Cops: Austell Boy, 13, Molested

The suspect admitted to authorities that he molested the boy, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

A Charlotte man has been arrested in a connection with the molestation of a 13-year-old Austell boy.

Deanthony Demarcus Miller surrendered Wednesday at the Cobb County West Park Government Center, according to online jail records, which list his birth year (1987), but not the month and date.

The incident occurred at the boy's home in the 7200 block of Crestside Drive between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

"The incident was discovered after the child disclosed to his mother what had happened and disclosed the details of the incident during a forensic interview," a Cobb County police officer wrote in the warrant.

Miller, who admitted to authorities that he molested the boy, is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
